Young people need industry relevant entry level training to start their journey in Tech. We aid young people under the age of 25 to get their foot in the door in the industry by skilling them with critical fundamental concepts of technology, which will ultimately set them on a path to attain true skills down the line
This programme is also a form of creating a pipeline of talent for Lexicon for the future, and each participants is always in line to gain employment within the Lexicon family
Training
The focus is to enable the SMME with building out business functions, such a Sales Function, Finance Function, HR Function, Operations,.
Mentorship
Several of the stuff members of the SMME gets to be mentored by our experienced team members who is optimally aligned with their function within the SMME. This is ideal as it gives team members of the SMME real world experience and exposure, resulting in meaningful practical experience.
Business Development
We provide business development assistance and tools which each SMME requires, which includes CRM tools, Business Modeling tools, and business forms, processes and procedures, to help institutionalise the businesses of each SMME
Access to market
We invite our SMMEs to participate in procurement opportunities both within our own business, and where there is an avenue, to bring them along to participate in projects we are delivering on, particularly if the scope matches the capabilities of any such SMME.
Many SMMEs have a business development capacity, but often lack the requisite technical skills, industry credentials, accreditations and specializations. Partnering will Lexicon can allow these SMMEs to deliver and execute successfully on projects, and in the process of execution, a skills transfer programme is put in place to empower the SMME partner to build the requisite capacity over the duration of the project.
